Float valve(also balltap or ballcock) is a mechanism or machine for filling water tanks. It consists of a
valve connected to a hollow sealed float by means of a lever,
mounted near the top of the tank. The float is often ball-shaped,
whence the name ballcock. The valve is connected to the incoming
water supply, and is opened and closed by the lever which has the
float mounted on the end. When the water level rises, the float
rises with it; once it rises to a pre-set level, the mechanism
forces the lever to close the valve and shut off the water flow.
This is an example of negative feedback and of proportional
control. A discharge mechanism is activated by means of a rod or chain. As
the tank water level drops, the float descends and actuates the
fill valve. Water is fed to the tank to replenish its supply, and a
smaller flow is directed into the overflow tube to refill the tank.
Once the valve closes, the water flow from the fill valve continues
until the tank level again reaches the fill line. |

Working principle:
1. As the water fill in water tank, the floats rise and up to the
settled water level, then the valve will be closed by the line
pulling force.
2. As the water level drop, tension will reduces between floats and
valve body, then the spring which in the valve body forces the
valve open, and the water fill in tank again at this time.
Loose the screw on the arm to adjust the float position and achieve
the horizontal and vertical installation.
Each of install method will not affect the performance.
1.If the body and pipe joint leak water, please check water tape is
wrapped and the pipe joint is tighted.
2.The Strength should suitable when tight and fix the float valve,
too much excessive strength will damage the valve.
3.Please check the water inlet filter regularly and remove the
garbage out in time.
4.Please do not use the cleanser which will cause damage when clean
the float valve.
